Participants will understand and learn the effects Yin Yoga has at the many different levels within the body and mind, and experience the array of benefits it has to offer every individual. This will Include the power of the breath, deep positional release and stretch, a meditative practice and much more.
Without realising many of us are constantly in a state of high alert, ’fight or flight’ mode, which over time leads to illness and pathology within the body, as our body systems aren’t able to switch into the "rest and digest" mode for recovery. Participants will be put through engaging practical lectures and practices, and learn how Yin can be used to de-stress and rest both the body and mind.
We will discuss how to tap into the subconscious mind as well as experiencing different meditation techniques, to help you make changes from the inside out. Be able to grow an appreciation of the now, learn how to meditate deeper than ever (whatever your current level is) and most importantly how to apply these techniques to your daily life.
