Janna Sukor Ardin
Janna Sukor (also known as 'Janna Madu') is a Singapore-based Yoga Teacher, Yoga Sports Coach (Climbing) and Stunt Performer.
Janna started climbing at the young age of 18 years old. She quickly took a liking to the sport, especially in bouldering outdoors. Awe by the beautiful lines and the complexity given by nature, she has since visited some of the most established bouldering places in and around Europe.
Yoga comes soon after, with the intention of becoming a holistic individual. While at it, she saw the importance of mindfulness practices (both physically & psychologically) for climbers. Janna completed training under the tutelage of teachers such as Tiffany Cruikshank (of Yoga Medicine) and Leah Kim (of Nike). She also studies online and in-person with renowned educators like Amy Ippoliti, Maty Ezraty, Dylan Werner, Briohny Smith and Dice Iida-Klein.
In addition to yoga and climbing, Janna is also passionate about martial arts and action acting/stunts. She started training in Aikido at the age of 15 years old and picked up Muay Thai in recent years. Her involvement in stunt performances includes advertisement with Sony Electronics Asia Pacific and much recently, TV series with HBO, an American premium cable-satellite television network.
This young instructor believes that everything you do should always come with an honest and kind intention. Janna was the first Singapore prAna ambassador, managed by Climb Asia from the year 2013 - 2017. Her dedication to the teaching industry was also recognised through a nomination as a finalist in Fitness Best Asia Awards-Best Yoga teacher in Asia for two years in a row.
